Korea FAQ covers topics that affect people’s legal status, health and money. This page explains how we research, write and update our guides.
Sources
- We rely first on primary sources: Korean government ministries and agencies, HiKorea, public institutions, local governments and official event organisers. Many of these are available only in Korean, and we read the Korean originals.
- Fees, deadlines, eligibility rules and dates are taken only from official sources. If two official sources disagree, we use the most recent one and say which date and source we followed.
- News articles and community posts help us find out what people are asking, but they are not used as evidence for facts.
Writing
- Each guide answers one main question and puts the answer near the top.
- We do not invent personal experiences, reviews or quotes.
- We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and checking. Every guide is reviewed against the official sources linked in it before it is published.
Updates and corrections
- Each guide shows when it was last checked.
- When a rule, fee or date changes, we update the guide and the date.
- Readers can report errors through our contact page. We check every report against the official source.
